To provide a vacuum cleaner that includes highly reliable accessories having a faulty connection prevention structure where a DC-type suction port assembly cannot be connected to an AC-type vacuum cleaner, while identifying a diameter of the connection part of standard accessories of an AC type and a DC type.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner comprises a hose to be connected to an AC-type cleaner main body, and an extension pipe and a suction port assembly connectable to the hose. The standard accessories having the hose, the extension pipe and the suction port assembly have a diameter of the connection part being the same as that of the standard accessories which the DC-type vacuum cleaner comprises. The recess side connection part of the hose and the extension pipe has a guide receiving part where a guide part provided in the convex side connection part of the extension pipe and the suction port assembly is fitted thereto. A width of the guide receiving part is narrower than that of the guide part that the extension pipe and the suction port assembly of the DC-type vacuum cleaner have.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
